Astarte was the great goddess of Sidon, Tyre and Carthage, carried across the Mediterranean by Phoenician sailors. She protected harbours, guaranteed royal power and blessed unions.

Mythology & traditions

Her cult travelled by ship: wherever Phoenician traders landed, her star was raised. She is a goddess of departure and safe return — the one you pray to when you cannot see the shore.
