Her story

Historical context

goddess · Greece, primordial cult with roots in the Bronze Age

Gaia came before the Olympians and gave birth to sky, sea and Titans. Oaths sworn on her name were unbreakable, and the Delphic oracle was hers before Apollo took the site.

Mythology & traditions

When Ouranos crushed her children back inside her, she armed Kronos with a sickle — the earth does not endure abuse forever, it grows the tool of its own release. Everything born of her returns to her, and she is not frightened by it.

Her guidance

Maiden

What you need to sow

Start at ground level. Plant, dig, cook, walk — begin with the body and the soil.

Mother

What you need to grow

Nurture the base: sleep, food, home, the boring foundations that hold everything else.

Crone

What you need to know

Know that decay is part of the cycle. What is ending is being composted, not erased.
