Old Woman at the Gate of Spring
Baba Dochia is the old woman of Romanian spring lore who climbs the mountain with her flock and sheds her heavy coats during deceptive warmth before winter returns. Her story is tied to the first days of March and mărțișor customs; she is a folkloric seasonal figure, not a securely attested ancient goddess.

Radiant Lady of the Golden Garden
Ileana Cosânzeana is a recurring heroine or fairy princess in Romanian wonder tales, celebrated for beauty, virtue and often her own intelligence and resourcefulness. Her name resonates with Sânziana midsummer fairy traditions, though the relationship is folkloric rather than evidence of one fixed ancient deity.
