Nyabingi

She Who Possesses Many Things

Nyabingi is a female spirit honored across the Great Lakes region, including Tanzania's Kagera borderlands. Her devotion became a powerful anticolonial force in the early 20th century, and her name later travelled into Rastafari tradition.
